Biblical prophecies you need to know before it’s too late

What is going on in our world today? Never before have things become so chaotic in America and the world. The troubles we are facing in this world are being called the “perfect storm” by many because they are all coming together at the same time. People everywhere are beginning to live in a state of fear and anxiety. Economic problems, job loss, natural disasters, food shortages, potential pandemics, terrorism, war, etc: all paint a disturbing picture. Serious people are asking, “If these things are happening today, what will the future be like for my children and grandchildren”? What does the future hold? Do current headlines give us any sign about what is coming next? There is one reliable source of information about the future – one that has an astounding record of accuracy. It is the Bible. Approximately 1/3 of the Bible is predictive prophecy. Fulfilling prophecy is one of Gods calling cards. God said in Isaiah 46:9-10 “…I am God, and there is none like me, declaring the end from the beginning…..” One of the most convincing evidences of Bible prophecy is the staggering number of prophecies that have been fulfilled with pinpoint accuracy. Let’s look at what the Bible has to say about the day we live in. The Lord Jesus Himself spoke of the wisdom of discerning the signs of the times and of taking appropriate action as we wait for His return. These “signs of the times” are prophecies concerning world events that we are told to watch for, prophecies that will identify the season of the Lord’s return. The Bible is full of these signs. There are about 500 prophecies in the Old Testament that relate to the second coming of Jesus, the Messiah. In the New Testament, one out of every 25 verses is concerned with the return of Christ. In fact, there are so many signs that it is difficult to grasp them all. The best way to understand them is to put them in categories:

1) The Signs of Nature

“…and there will be great earthquakes and in various places plagues and famines; and there will be terrors (events that cause fear) and great signs from heaven.” (Luke 21:11) This category of signs has always been the least respected, even among believers. Many people will say we have always had these problems. There have always been earthquakes, plagues (epidemics), tornadoes, hurricanes, terrors, etc. All this is true. Jesus said that when you see these signs become like the “birth pangs” of a woman then pay attention (Matthew 24:8). The “birth pains” before the baby is born become more intense and come with more frequency until the baby is born. In the same way, we would see these signs come with more intensity and frequency giving us the clue we are in the season of His return. In other words, we will see more frequent and intense natural disasters, plagues, famines, terrors etc; which is what has been happening.

The following statistics shows between October 1991 and November 2004, the United States experienced:

• 9 of the 10 largest insurance events in U.S. history

• 9 of the 10 greatest natural disasters as ranked by FEMA relief costs

• 5 of the costliest hurricanes in U.S. history (before hurricane Katrina)

• 3 of the 4 largest tornado swarms in U.S. history

So it is obvious, looking at these statistics, that some of the signs of nature are indeed happening more frequently and with more intensity. However there is something else happening with these disasters that most people do not see. They all happened at or within days of the United States trying to force Israel to give up land for peace. The Bible says God will bless those who bless Israel, and curse those who curse Israel (Genesis 12:3). The Bible also says that he who touches Israel touches “the apple of God’s eye” (Zechariah 2:8). We have been Israel’s best friend ever since the nation came back into being in 1948. The Bible says that in the end times all nations of the world will come together against Israel over the issue of Jerusalem (Zech 12:3). In fact the prediction shows the land of Israel would be divided and the nations involved would be judged (chastised) Joel 3:2. To divide the land is wrong because God gave the land to Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob and their descendants forever. (You will see more about this later). In the early 90’s we began to turn against Israel in our determination to maintain access to Arab oil.

The Turning Point

The turning point came 1991 when the Soviet Union collapsed and Russian Jews began flooding into Israel at the rate of 2,000 to 3,000 a day for a year. (This was predicted in Isaiah 43:5-6). The tiny nation of Israel was overwhelmed by the refugees. The Israeli government appealed to the World Bank for a 5 billion dollar loan. The bank said it would grant the loan if the U.S. guaranteed it. The Bush Sr. administration agreed to underwrite the loan on one condition: the Israelis had to go to the bargaining table and start trading land for peace.

Yes, we are the ones who forced Israel into adopting the current suicidal policy of appeasement with groups of people who refuse to recognize Israel has a nation.

A White House correspondent (one of 250 in the world) named William Koenig wrote a book entitled, Eye to Eye – Facing the Consequences of Dividing Israel. The thesis of the book is that many of the natural calamities, economics setbacks, and political crises experienced by the U.S. since 1991 have been directly related to actions we have taken to force Israel to surrender territory to the Arabs, contrary to God’s Word. (The purpose of this article is to introduce you to this and then we will show you web sites where you can study this in more detail). Since Mr. Koenig is a White House correspondent, and kept his eye on U.S./Israeli news, he noticed a pattern. Let me share with you a few of the examples he gives.

1) The Madrid Conference – This conference, which we forced on Israel, marked the beginning of the “land for peace” process. The opening of the conference on October 30, 1991, coincided with the formation of “the perfect storm”. This was the record breaking storm along our Atlantic seacoast which produced 100 foot high waves and heavily damaged President Bush’s home at Kennebunkport, Maine. (A movie was made about this storm). The headlines of USA Today on November 1, 1991 had the stories of the storm and the conference side by side or eye to eye.

2) Round Six of the Bilateral Peace Talks – The day the meeting began, August 24, 1992, Hurricane Andrew slammed into Florida with winds of 177 miles per hour. The damage done amounted to over 30 billion and was the most costly hurricane in U.S. history to that point in time.

3) Arafat at the United Nations – In September of 1998 Yasser Arafat was invited to speak to a special session of the United Nations that was held in New York. President Clinton arranged a meeting with him to put pressure on Israel. As the meeting took place, Hurricane George smashed into the Gulf Coast causing over $6 billion in damage.

4) Arafat and a Palestinian State – With our encouragement, Arafat announced that he was going to proclaim a Palestinian State on May 4^th, 1999. On the day the declaration was to have been made (May 3^rd in the U.S.; May 4^th in Israel), the most powerful tornado in U.S. history tore through Oklahoma City with wind speeds of 316 miles per hour, destroying over 2,000 homes. Understand that when God promises something it will always come to pass whether good or bad. A lot of what he has promised is no more than reaping what is sown. He has said what actions are blessed and what will be cursed. Most people are not aware of what he said and therefore see no correlation between action and reaction. The purpose of this booklet is to show you this and some of what God has said would happen in our time.

5) The Camp David Summit – From July 11^th through July 24^th in the summer of 2000, President Clinton hosted a summit conference between Israel and the Palestinian Authority. Clinton pressured Israeli Prime Minister Ehud Barak to surrender the heartland of Israel. During these precise dates, a major heat wave struck the South Central U.S. and fires broke out in our Western states. At one point, there were over 50 active fires that consumed over 500,000 acres before the end of the month.

6) The Middle East Peace Plan – On April 30, 2003, U.S. Ambassador Daniel Kurtzer presented the “road map” peace plan to Israeli Prime Minister Ariel Sharon. It called for Israel to surrender the Gaza Strip and its heartland Judea and Samaria to the Palestinians. On May 4^th Secretary Powell met with terrorist leader Hafez Assad of Syria and made a commitment to him to include the surrender of the Golan Heights in the peace plan. That day a swarm of tornados began tearing apart the Central United States. Over the next 7 days, there were a total of 412 tornadoes – the largest cluster ever observed by NOAA since it began its record keeping in 1950.

Remember the statistics above that said that 9 out of ten largest insurance events, 9 out of ten worst natural disasters as ranked by FEMA,(before Katrina) etc. have all happened between October 1991 and November 2004. All of these statistics are linked to our attempts to pressure Israel to give up land that God said He gave to them forever. Yes, understand fully, all the statistics above happened on days when we were forcing Israel to give up land for peace. Remember, God would chastise (spank) the nations that are involved in dividing the Land.

He also said he would destroy the nations that attack Jerusalem when Jesus comes back (Zechariah 12:9-10). It does not appear (in Bible prophecy) the U.S. will ever attack Israel, but we are the main country involved in dividing the land right now.

7) The Gaza Withdrawal (I saw this one coming) - I have been studying prophecy since 1978 but only learned about the above pattern in late 2004. Then I saw the next chaotic event to happen in Israel that we (the U.S.) forced them into. It began on August 7^th of 2005 and continued through the 22^nd, as nearly 9,000 Israelis were uprooted from their land and homes in the Gaza Strip. Many had been in the area for 35 years. It was a heart-wrenching event to watch women and children manhandled, synagogues violated, Torah scrolls desecrated, houses bulldozed, graves dug up, and farms destroyed. Entire Jewish communities were forcibly removed from land which God has given to the Jewish people as an everlasting possession (Psalms 105:8-11, Jeremiah 25:5). As I watched the news every night and saw what was happening I told my son that we are responsible for this. I told him that we have sown refugees, we will reap refugees. The withdrawal ended on August 22^nd, and on the very next day, the government of Bermuda announced that a tropical depression had formed off its coast. Dubbed “Katrina,” the storm quickly developed into a hurricane and hit Florida. When I saw this I told my son that this hurricane will be what causes us to reap refugees. He turned white as a ghost. I told him that this will probably be the most destructive hurricane the U.S. has ever experienced (because I reasoned the hurricane would be of great magnitude since the magnitude of the Gaza Strip withdrawal was great). The next day, I went to Lowes with him and bought plywood to board up our windows because Mobile, Al, where I live, was in the predictive cone of landfall. The hurricane grew to a category 5 and at one point filled the Gulf of Mexico! As most of you know, Katrina developed into one of the most powerful hurricanes in modern history. It slammed into New Orleans and the Mississippi/Alabama coast. New Orleans was spared the worst of the winds, but the water breached certain dykes and flooded the city. Many people died and we had thousands of refugees. (It is not hard to see how this works. God’s Word cannot be broken. What He has said will come to pass, whether we believe it or not or understand it or not) Romans 11:22. The hurricane disrupted 25% of our crude oil production and destroyed our nation’s largest port. To sum everything up in the signs of nature, we should see an increase in weather problems, fires, viruses and bacterial strains that are hard to cure, epidemics, volcanic eruptions, earthquakes and signs in the sun, the moon and the stars etc.

Understand that our purpose is not to make you fearful, but to make you aware so you can be prepared – spiritually, mentally, physically and financially.

2) The Signs of Society

Jesus said that society will become increasingly lawless and immoral as the time approaches for His return. In fact, He said in many ways it would become as evil as it was in the days of Noah (Matthew 24:12, 37-39). Paul paints a chilling picture of end time society in II Timothy 3:1-5. He says it will be characterized by the love of self (humanism), the love of money (materialism), and the love of pleasure (hedonism). People will call evil good and good evil (Isaiah 5:20). This is exactly what is happening!

The most dramatic way to illustrate how rapidly the deterioration of society has become in America is to consider the results of a poll concerning public school discipline problems. Consider the differing results between the 1940’s and 1980’s.

3) The Spiritual Signs

There are positive and negative signs we are to watch for. The negative ones include the appearance of false Christs, false prophets and their cults (Matthew 24:11, 24), apostasy of the professing church (II Thessalonians 2:3), lukewarm Christians (Revelation 3:14-22), the love of many toward God would grow cold because sin will abound (Mathew 24:12), an outbreak of demonic beliefs that includes Satanism, witchcraft, astrology, physics and channeling (I Timothy 4:1). The whole trend has consummated in the appearance of the New Age Movement with its teaching that man is God. As society has secularized, true Christianity has come under increasing attack. Judeo-Christian values, once the foundation of western civilization, are now openly mocked and those who still adhere to them are castigated as “intolerant fundamentalists” by the media. This represents a big change from the way things were from the founding of our country to just 60 years ago. Other signs include a movement to a one world religion (Revelation 17), persecution of believers (Matthew 24:9-10) (Mark 13:9, 11-13) and (Luke 21:12-19).

The positives spiritual signs include the proclamation of the Gospel to the whole world (Matthew 24:14), a great outpouring of the Holy Spirit (Joel 2:28-32), and an understanding of Bible prophecy by some in the last days (Daniel 12:4, 8-9).

4) World Political Signs

1. Re-establishment of Israel

(Ezekiel 36:22 - 39:1) (Zechariah 12:1-6)

2. Arab hostility toward Israel

(Ezekiel 35:1 – 36:7)

3. Russia a menacing power to Israel

(Ezekiel 38:1 – 39:6)

4. Wars and rumors of wars

(Matthew 24:6-7) (Mark 13:7-8)

5. Kingdom against kingdom.

The word “Kingdom” in Greek is “Ethnos” and includes civil and ethnic wars.

7. Movement toward a one world economy and one world government.

4. Television and satellite transmission (Revelation 11:3-12)

6) The Accelerator Signs

1. Increase in violence (Matthew 24:7-12)

2. Rapid increase in knowledge (Daniel 12:4)

3. Increase in transportation (Daniel 12:4)

4. Rapid disintegration of society (II Timothy 3:1-5, 13 & I Timothy 4:1-3)

5. Signs in general to be like birth pangs of a woman – they will increase in frequency and intensity (Matthew 24:8)

7) Signs of Israel

1. Re-gathering of the Jews from the 4 corners of the earth.

(Isaiah 11:10-12) (Ezekiel 37:1-12)

2. Re-establishment of the state of Israel.

(Isaiah 66:7-8, Zechariah 12:1-6, and Matthew 24:32-35)

3. Revival of the Hebrew language (Zephaniah 3:9) Hebrew is once again the official language of Israel.

4. The Jews will re occupy the city of Jerusalem (Zechariah 8:4-8)

5. The whole world will come against Israel over the issue of who will control Jerusalem. (Zechariah 12:1-3) Of all the cities in the world, Jerusalem will be the “burdensome stone” of the world (Zechariah 12:3). Amazingly so, Jerusalem is the most reported on city in the world.

In II Peter 3:9 it says “He does not wish for any to perish, but all to come to repentance.” Jesus said that when you see all these signs come together you would know He is coming soon. Jesus answered and said to him, “Most assuredly, I say to you, unless one is born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.” (John 3:3)

This is the most important thing you will ever do and understand.

Can You Know That You Have Eternal Life?

There are a thousand ways to start a discussion about eternal life. One way is to begin by asking a thought provoking question!

Question: Have you come to the place in your spiritual life that if you were to die tonight you could say for certain that you would go to heaven?

Now before reading on, re-read the question and truthfully answer it to yourself.

Some people, when asked this question answer something like this: “No one can know for certain they are going to heaven!”

Let’s look at what the Bible says and see if this is true or not.

“These things have I written unto you that believe on the name of the Son of God; that you may know that you have eternal life, and that you may believe on the name of the Son of God.” (I John 5:13)

Can this be true? Does God want us to know we have eternal life? Well, the answer is YES.

John said certain things have been written whereby you can know you have eternal life. Before we look at what is written, let’s ask one more question.

If you were to die tonight and stood before God and God said to you – “Why should I let you into my heaven?” What would you say?

Some people say they have tried to live a good life and obey the Golden Rule, Ten Commandments and other things. However, this does not have anything to do with eternal life!”

You see, the Bible reveals the following good news.

Heaven is a free gift – Romans 6:23 says “For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.”

It is not earned, nor deserved – “For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast.” (Ephesians 2:8-9)

To many people this is a rather new way of looking at this subject. However, if we look at what the Bible teaches about mans condition, we will see that eternal life must be a gift and no one can earn or deserve it!

Man is a sinner – “For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God.” (Romans 3:23)

“As it is written, there is none righteous, no, not one.” (Romans 3:10) (That means you and I).

Man cannot save himself – “For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast.” (Ephesians 2:8-9)

“Not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to His mercy He saved us…” (Titus 3:5)

We cannot save our self by works! The problem of man trying to save himself comes into sharper focus when we look at what the Bible says about God:

God is love and doesn’t want us to perish - “He that loveth not knoweth not God; for God is love.” (I John 4:8)

“For God so loved the world that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.” (John 3:16)

However, there is another aspect of God that many people don’t know. We know God is loving and merciful, but many don’t realize:

God is just and must punish sin – “For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.” (Romans 6:23)

“For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who hold the truth in unrighteousness.” (Romans 1:18)

God solved this problem for you by sending his son – Jesus Christ – to be the Savior of the world!

Jesus Christ – What He did: He died on the cross and shed his blood for our sins in obedience to the plan God had preordained! “All we like sheep have gone astray; we have turned everyone to his own way; and the Lord hath laid on him the iniquity of us all” (Isaiah 53:6). “Neither by the blood of goats and calves, but by his own blood he entered in once into the holy place, having obtained eternal redemption for us” (Hebrews 9:12). “But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship one with another, and the blood of Jesus Christ his Son cleanseth us from all sin” (I John 1:7). How do you receive this Free Gift? “For by grace are ye saved through faith;” (Ephesians 2:8).

Faith: What it is not: Mere intellectual assent – (this won’t do!) “Not everyone that says unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven, but he that does the will of my Father which is in heaven.” (Matthew 7:21) There are many who go to church and know about God, but they, by their actions prove they do not know Him. Going to church cannot make you a Christian anymore than standing in a garage can make you a car.

What it is: Trusting in Jesus Christ alone for your salvation. “He that believeth on the Son hath everlasting life: and he that believeth not the Son shall not see life; but the wrath of God abides on him.” (John 3:36) The kind of faith that can save you is a heart faith not a head faith.

So, can you know you have eternal life? Let the scriptures speak for themselves. Remember the first scripture in this article?

“These things have I written unto you that believe on the name of the Son of God: that you may know that you have eternal life, and that you may believe on the name of the Son of God.” (I John 5:13)

“Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that hears my word, and believes on him that sent me, hath everlasting life, and shall not come into condemnation; but is passed from death unto life.” (John 5:24)

“Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me hath everlasting life.” (John 6:47)

“He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved: but he that believeth not shall be damned.” (Mark 16:16)

“For if Abraham were justified by works, he hath whereof to glory; but not before God. For what says the scripture?” Abraham believed God and it was counted unto him for righteousness. Now to him that worketh is the reward not reckoned of grace, but of debt. But to him that worketh not, but believeth on him that justifieth the ungodly, his faith is counted for righteousness. Even as David also describeth the blessedness of the man, unto whom God imputeth righteousness without works, saying, blessed are they whose iniquities are forgiven, and whose sins are covered. Blessed is the man to whom the Lord will not impute sin.” (Romans 4:2-8)

If you are not sure you have eternal life and would like to receive this free gift, then we invite you to do so NOW – Don’t put it off. You receive eternal life by receiving Jesus Christ as your personal Lord and Savior. “But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become sons of God, even to them that believe on his name:” (John 1:12) To do this it is necessary to repent of your sins and transfer your trust to Jesus Christ alone for your salvation. Churches cannot save, only Jesus can save you! I am not saying it is bad to go to church, but Jesus said “I am the way, the truth and the life. No man comes to the Father except by me”. Jesus is the Savior and not religion.

If you want to, you can obey the following scriptures! “That if thou shall confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shall believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shall be saved. For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.” (Romans 10:9-10) “For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.” (Romans 10:13)

Call upon the Lord, by repeating this prayer and mean it with your whole heart:

Father, in Jesus name I call upon you to save me and to forgive me.

I repent of my sins and turn to you.

I confess Jesus as Lord and believe in my heart has been raised from the dead!

You said if I would call upon you I would be saved!

Now it is important you read the New Testament and find a good Bible teaching church so you can learn. Also, since we are in the end time season of the Lords return, study Bible prophecy. “Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you; and, lo, I am with you always, even unto the end of the world. The Bible

Is It Really the Word of God?

Some people say the Bible is a “Good Book”, but is not really the Word of God. Thus, many today think Jesus and the Bible writers were good men, but do not believe they spoke and wrote by the inspiration of God. However, Jesus quoted the Bible and said it was the Word of God.

“Then was Jesus led up of the Spirit into the wilderness to be tempted of the devil. And when He had fasted forty days and forty nights, He was afterward and hungered. And when the tempter came to Him, He said, If thou be the Son of God, command that theses stones be made bread. But He answered and said, It is written, Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceeds out of the mouth of God.” (Matthew 5:18)

“For verily I say unto you, till heaven and earth pass, one jot or one tittle shall in no wise pass from the law, till all be fulfilled.” (Matthew 5:18)

Jesus said to the Father “Thy word is truth” in John 17:17. The Bible itself claims to be inspired by God in II Timothy 3:16, saying that “all scripture is given by God…”

Now again, can we believe that Jesus and the Bible writers are good men and not believe the Bible is the Word of God to man? If I believe the Bible is not the Word of God, then, knowing what Jesus and the Bible writers said, I must also consider them liars and deceivers and therefore not good! There can be no middle ground! Many people hold to this illogical view and do not realize…

The Bible Can Be Proved To Be The Word Of God

It is true! Many people do not know that the Bible can be proved to be the inspired Word of God!

The historical accuracy of the Bible was once widely doubted. Critics questioned the existence of the Bible characters and places. However, beginning in 1798 to the present many archaeological discoveries have been made; all of which verify the accounts given in the Bible! Such finds as the Rosetta Stone in 1798 and the Mesha Stone (which dates from 500 B.C.) verifies II Kings 1-2 among other scriptures. The Gezar Calendar in 1902, the Elephantine Papyri in 1903 (which dates from 500 B.C.), the city of Ur which dates from 1960 B.C. (Abraham lived here), the Dead Sea Scrolls and thousands of other discoveries, all prove the accuracy of the historical accounts of the Bible.

Most historians agree that the Bible is historically a work of art, but still, is this enough evidence to prove inspiration? Jesus presented himself alive by many infallible proofs in Acts 1:3 and has left infallible proofs today for any thinking person to consider. Here are two of many.

1) The first and most important classical evidence for the inspiration of the scriptures is prophecy. The Bible says, “despise not prophesying, prove all things, hold fast to that which is good” (I Thess. 5:20-21).

How do we know that the prophets of the Bible have been sent by God to speak for him? God presents us with the same question: “How do we know that a prophet is sent from me? By this ye shall know that he shall tell the future and if what he prophesies does not come to pass then I have not sent him” (Deut 18:22) Why? Because only God knows the future!

The gift of prophecy is one of the methods by which the Bible authenticates itself as the Word of God. Now, many people would again not appreciate the significance of this because they do not realize that this is something which is strikingly absent from all other religious writings. For example, the writings of Buddha are totally lacking in any sort of specific predictive prophecy about the things of the future. In the writings of Confucius there is absolutely nothing of any predictive prophecies. This is quite different from the specific, concrete, and definite nature of the prophecies found in the Bible! Let’s look at a few concerning Christ and their accurate historical New Testament fulfillment.

These are some of the many prophecies that show Jesus is the Messiah.

There are already over 2,000 specific prophecies in the Bible which have already been fulfilled. These biblical prophecies deal with many nations and scores of cities with which Israel had some dealings. It cannot be said that these prophecies were written after the events for many of the events took place hundreds and even thousands of years after the prophecies were made. Nor, can it be said that they are vague and obscure, because they are highly specific in their details.

Modern Prophets

The above facts are particularly astounding when we recall that there are no such prophecies in the “scriptures” of any other religion, and when we consider some of the so called modern prophet’s efforts to duplicate this feat.

Years ago the National Enquirer magazine listed sixty-one prophecies by the ten leading seers in the world, reporting events that were supposed to transpire in the last six months of that year. Compared to the prophecies of scripture it should be relatively easy to predict those things which lie so close at hand. How well did they do? Believe it or not, they missed all sixty-one prophecies! Some of their remarkable forecasts were that Pope Paul would retire that year; that George Foreman would retain his heavy-weight crown in his bout with Mohammed Ali in Africa and that Ted Kennedy would get his campaign for President into high gear. The only difference between the prophecies of these modern prophets and those of the Bible is that our modern seers were unfailingly wrong and the biblical prophets were unfailingly right. A significant difference to say the least! The television hypes personalities that call themselves Psychics, but a thorough investigation of each proves they miss it most of the time. Your Future is in Your Hands

Jesus spoke of a coming time when the world would be full of war, famine, economic unrest, natural disasters, disease and deception (Matthew 24). The condition of the world just before the “End of the Age” will be the greatest time of trouble the world has ever seen. Jesus said…”And except those days should be shortened, there should no flesh be saved: but for the elect’s sake those days shall be shortened.” (Matthew 24:22) That’s the bad news, but is there any good news? Yes, there is good news and it is very good! The world will not end but it will have a close call. Jesus will come back but not destroy the world but to save it from itself! So we ask - to who does the 21^st century belong? The answer is: the 21^st century belongs to Jesus the Messiah and to those who are his followers at His coming. There remains one other important question. What can you do now about your future? The Bible reveals there are two kinds of people: True believers and unbelievers. To the believer, there lies a future of Eternal Life and Blessings. To the one who rejects Jesus only bad news about the future. You future will be good or bad depending on what you do with Jesus Christ. Ensure your future today! Receive Jesus Christ as your personal Lord and Savior. Accept the free gift of Eternal Life. OTHER WISDOM THINGS

Many people have asked me “Should I prepare for a possible disaster, pandemic, hurricane, etc? I think the answer to that question is obviously yes! What should you do? Since FEMA and the Red Cross all suggest you prepare and many a well known pastor has felt impressed of God to tell their congregations to prepare, it is my suggestion that you put up one month supply of food and other stuff you will need in case transportation breaks down, or a power grid failure, or a money system collapse, hurricane etc. We also suggest you buy a special water filter that can provide to your family clean water in an emergency. Here is a prophecy given around 650 BC that pertains to the time we live in. And he said”go thy way Daniel; for the words are closed up till the time of the end. Many shall be purified and made white, and tried; but he wicked shall do wickedly: and none of the wicked shall understand; but the wise shall understand” (Daniel 12:9-10). The goal I have in writing this booklet is to make you wise to see what is going on in the world and that God’s Word will come to pass exactly like He said it would! This booklet is only an introduction to the world of prophecy! Hopefully, you will dig into this further and learn what God wants you to know. In the end, I hope you will put your trust in God and His Word!

What about money? Of course you need to have some cash on hand. If the power grid fails for a season, then cash will give you the ability to buy food or gas etc. How much cash should you have on hand for an emergency? We think more is better than less. Let’s say at least one weeks worth, but one months’ worth is better, if you can do that. In times of crisis we need to think not only about our family, but other people we know. This is the way God would have us to be (Philippians 2:4, 1 Tim 3:2). Not everyone will prepare. Some people wait until they see the trouble coming (like a hurricane) and then prepare. However we are living in a time when trouble can come like a thief in the night, so it is better to prepare now. This will also keep you from panicking when trouble comes.

What if we have a total system collapse? What if we have hyperinflation? The Bible shows that one day in many nations around the world a days’ supply of food will cost a days’ wage. If you think you should prepare more than a months’ supply or prepare for an extreme disaster, then go to www.survival-warehouse.com web site and/or do your own research. Though I only suggest one months’ supply of food and money etc; we don’t know what or where disaster will strike in our country. It is best to pray about this and do what God impresses you to do. There are those who advise to buy gold and silver to hedge against inflation. There are those who say to invest in exchange traded funds (ETFs) like GLD or SLV to take advantage of gold or silver price moves. If you have a lot of money then you need to do your homework. I would be very careful about investing in stock. If you do, be sure to put a stop/loss on your stock to protect from huge losses. I suggest you buy the book “The New Economic Disorder” by Larry Bates to educate yourself. Be sure you put yourself in a position to be blessed of God. In Malachi 3:8-10 God says to give 10% (tithe) to the storehouse which nowadays means the local church. It is an everlasting principle you need to take advantage of. Be sure the church or ministry that you give to is doing the work of God to preach the Gospel, feed the poor and help the hurting. In times like these we all need to be sure we are in line to receive miracle help from God because we can only prepare to a certain point. Look at these truths from God’s Word - He that gives unto the poor shall not lack: but he that hides his eyes from the poor shall have many curses. This is one of many reasons we feed the homeless, visit the jails, etc; at Wings of Life. This is a promise you need to activate. Here is another one. He that has pity on the poor lendeth unto the Lord and that which he hath given the Lord will repay. The Lord will always do what He says He will do. There are many ministries helping the poor, including us. Be sure to give some of your money toward helping the poor!

What do you think will happen in the near future? What I will do now is give you my educated predictions/guess about the future from July 4th, 2009. Reread the signs of the time article. Everything will increase in intensity and frequency jumping from one category to another. There is no guess work in that! I think something that has the possibility of happening soon is that Israel will attack Iran’s nuclear facilities. This will shock the financial system worldwide because the price of oil will spike. Our system is already fragile and another hit could put us over the edge. I think there is a real possibility it will go over the edge into a full blown depression without any problems shocking it anyway. However, true to form with the Bible and world history, the “Jews” will be blamed by many, because they attacked their sworn enemies to try and survive as a nation. This may begin the Psalm 83 war with Israel having to fight Syria, Hezballa in Lebanon, Hamas in the Gaza Strip, Egypt, the Palestinians and Jordan. Israel will win with Gods help. This will set up the Gog-Magog war of Ezekiel 38-39. From time to time I am going to add teachings on all of this on our website so keep checking back every month for new information. The Bible speaks of a deception coming that is the greatest deception the world as ever seen (II Thess. 2, Revelation 16:13-16). If it were possible the very elect people of God would be deceived.

Is there other evidence of what the future holds? Earlier, I told you about the book I wrote entitled “The Zodiac Code”. The end of the eleventh sign (Argo) and the twelfth sign tells the future. The new star (super nova) tells the next event to happen on God’s calendar of events He wrote in the stars! This super nova is only the eighth to become visible to the naked eye in recorded history! It just so happens that the stars are saying the same thing that the Bible is saying is next on God’s calendar of events! It is amazing! Will the world end in 2012? The first thing to understand is there is no end of the world only the end of this age when Jesus comes back to earth. Jesus can not come back until after the seven years of trouble, of which the last three and a half years will be “the great tribulation” (Matthew 24:15-22).

The Wings of Life is a ministry located in Mobile, Alabama, that helps the down and outers. We have a 90 day alcohol and drug rehab program, we feed the homeless six days a week and visit those in jail and at the Strickland youth center.
